Introduction

Our setting strives to provide children with a warm, safe, friendly atmosphere that feels very much home from home. Our approach is relaxed as we follow the children's lead and respect parent's wishes.

Every practitioner knows every child and strives to make their early years the best ever.

Our key worker approach develops self-confidence and self awareness & we help children to form relationships with each other and all adults in our setting. Every practitioner knows every child and strives to make their early years the best ever. Children are taught to manage feelings and behaviour through valuing each other and learning to live alongside others caring and sharing. Adults promote this by being role models and teaching through the Early Years Outcomes. The three prime areas are paramount to a child's development and observatiions and next steps are used to plan and bring the children forward. Everything practitioners do is set to enhance children's experience in early years. Areas set out in each of our rooms enhance all 7 areas of learning and within those areas meet the Early Years outcomes, however basic.

Fees

The fees are payable 1 month in advance. Fees must still be paid if children are absent for a short period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, talk to Amanda Cook - Proprietor. Special arrangements for fees can be made.

For your child to keep her/his place at the setting, you must pay the fees. We are in receipt of nursery education funding for three and four year olds; where funding is not received, then fees apply.

We always hope that children are collected on time for their own emotional well being. If children remain uncollected for an hour then in accordance with our policy 1.6 ‘Uncollected Child ‘ in our Safeguarding policy we will contact First Response and follow their advice. If you would like a copy of this policy please ask any member of Staff. A copy is also available on site for you to view.
